Work

The case files. Open one.

Some from my own clients, some from my years in-house. The problems are the same at every size. The budgets aren't.

Startup

The problem

A growing tech startup had a great product just launched and a pile of ideas for new ones. Their product manager was talented but new to the role, and the founders needed senior support.

What I did

Pre-paid Power Hours, working alongside the product manager: customer feedback, target audiences, whether to pivot, and the company vision.

What happened

A clear business direction, a new 3-year plan, a focus on the right new products, and next steps to grow the product they'd just launched.

"Our business direction is now crystal clear, and we know what needs to be done."Founder & CEO

Solo founder

The problem

An experienced communicator with a clear mission, whose website wasn't explaining the offer in a way that brought in clients.

What I did

Reworked the positioning of her offer and rewrote the website copy, keeping her voice.

What happened

A sharper, more compelling offer, in words she was proud to put her name to.

"She has helped me turn up the volume to 11 in a way that was still 100% me!"Kate Faxen, Founder

Scale-up

The problem

Sales teams needed proof from real clients, but case studies were hard to find, slow to make and scattered.

What I did

Rebuilt the case study programme: a central Case Study Hub, an easier way for clients to take part, and a steady pipeline of stories.

What happened

Case studies directly influenced more than £37M across 506 deals. I've since built an AI case study finder to spot the best stories faster.

Scale-up

The problem

Customer feedback lived in surveys, support tickets, sales notes and reviews, and rarely changed a decision.

What I did

Built YouGov's Voice of the Customer programme by joining up those different data sets into one view, then linking what clients said to what product and marketing did next.

What happened

NPS rose by 5 points, and the insight shaped AI product development.

"She has a natural gift for advocacy: not just listening to the customer voice, but ensuring it actually drives business decisions."Sabin Mindrut, Head of Marketing Technology and Operations

Scale-up

The problem

Leadership had plenty of research and data, but not the time to dig through it to answer the questions that mattered.

What I did

Reviewed complex reports and data sets, pulled out the answers to the actual business questions, and turned them into short stories leadership could decide on.

What happened

Product and marketing decisions made on evidence, faster, with the reasoning written down.

Innovation

The problem

An innovation agency needed to turn a data-science report based on customer feedback into a clear answer to its client's business question: where were the white-space opportunities, and what should it innovate next?

What I did

Helped the agency draw out the key insights, connect them to the client's business question and identify the implications for what to innovate next.

What happened

A clearer view of the white-space opportunities and the innovation priorities they pointed to.

Events

The problem

YouGov needed a way to bring senior clients and prospects together around ideas, not sales pitches.

What I did

Came up with and built the Research Reality Summit series in London and New York, with speakers from Snapchat, AWS, WPP, Havas and Chili's.

What happened

A flagship event series, and 23 enterprise prospects asking to talk further.

Launch

The problem

A new automated data-sharing service needed to land with customers fast.

What I did

Led product strategy and go-to-market, built on what customers needed.

What happened

Over $1M revenue in the first month, against a $750K target.

B2C launch

The problem

A new stylist marketplace needed to know which features mattered, and needed stylists on board.

What I did

Ran user research to define the product, then recruited stylists through Instagram.

What happened

A clearer product and 30 stylists onboarded for launch.
